Well, it's certainly a change of genre, for starters. For me personally, I think it's gonna be a grower, but we'll see. Mercury will be included on Bloc Party's 3rd studio album, due out this year.

Currently under construction in Berlin, 'O2 World' will house an entertainment venue and shopping facilities just like its London cousin. The arena has a 17,000 capacity along with shops and cinemas. This photo here was taken within the hour by the live webcam service.

Apple Inc, creators of the Macintosh, iPod, iPhone and the extremely successful iTunes Store, have announced today that they have finally overtaken rivals Amazon, Best Buy, Wal-Mart & Target to become the top music retailer (offline or online) in the whole of the US. 50 million customers have purchased 4 billion songs from a selection of 6 million songs.
“We launched iTunes less than five years ago, and it has now become the number one music retailer in the world,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s vice president of iTunes. “We are thrilled, and would like to thank all of our customers for helping us reach this incredible milestone.”
The above figures are based on data from market research firm the NPD Group’s MusicWatch survey that captures consumer reported past week unit purchases and counts one CD representing 12 tracks, excluding wireless transactions. The iTunes Store became the largest music retailer in the US based on the amount of music sold during January and February 2008.
